At EverSend Yorkie, we believe Yorkies are the ideal companions for any household. Yorkshire Terriers are known for their affectionate, loyal, and spunky personalities. Despite their small size, Yorkies are full of energy and love to be involved in everything their families do. They are perfect lap dogs, yet still adventurous and curious, always ready for playtime or a walk.
Our Yorkie Puppies are bred with careful attention to both health and temperament. We ensure that all of our puppies are well-socialized from an early age, making them adaptable, friendly, and ready to bond with their future families. Yorkies are known for being loving and devoted companions who thrive in a close, family-oriented environment. With their low-shedding coats and intelligent, trainable nature, Yorkies are not only beautiful but also perfect pets for those looking for a loyal friend.
When you welcome a Yorkie into your life, you’re gaining a lively, affectionate, and resilient companion—one that will bring joy, comfort, and love for many years to come
We don’t follow any one way of how is the best way to do a breeding. Many breed on phenotype or genotype, and many on a combination. It all has its ups and downs. Again, we will stress that if you don’t have a healthy and sound dog, you don’t have anything.
Socialization is one of the most crucial aspects of raising a well-rounded Yorkie, yet it’s often misunderstood or overlooked. While we, as breeders, begin the socialization process, the real responsibility falls on you—the new caretaker, owner, and best friend. Socialization means exposing your puppy to the world outside your home—new places, people, animals, and experiences.
It’s not just about having neighbors over or letting your puppy play with familiar dogs. True socialization involves introducing your puppy to different environments, strangers, children, other dogs, and even different animals like cats or horses. Failing to do this can lead to behavioral issues, such as excessive barking, anxiety, and fearfulness.
Many people worry about their puppy contracting diseases like parvo, or simply don’t make the time, but keeping your puppy in a bubble can cause more harm than good. Three new sights, sounds, or experiences every day will go a long way toward developing a confident, happy companion.
Want a dog that listens, is friendly with strangers, and doesn’t react negatively to new situations? Socialization is the key. A well-socialized Yorkie grows up to be a calm, obedient, and well-adjusted dog—ready for all of life’s adventures!

Pack leadership is separate from training, although goes hand in hand. The first step and suggestion is to make sure you are acquiring a puppy or dog that has the temperament, drive, and activity level that you desire. If you are a submissive and quiet person, the last thing you will want is an alpha-type dog. Starting with the right dog, in any breed, is going to increase your bond over the years, and make your friendship that much more enjoyable. So, start with the right puppy, and establish pack leadership the moment that puppy/dog walks in the door. What may seem like basic manners to some, is pack leadership. Examples: You eat first, dog eats last. You walk through the door first, and the dog follows. If you need more information on Pack Leadership and/or Training, Contact Me.
Let me make an introduction briefly here. Dogs are my life. I have a breeding program, not only for pet dogs. My goal is to make my dogs healthier, and my job is to make your dog’s life healthier. If I put in all the hard work, why would someone want to ruin all that hard work by not following a way of raising dogs, that has proved time and time again to be the best method of short-term and long-term health. I don’t have dogs as a hobby. I have them as a passion. I eat, sleep, and breathe dogs. I live with them 24 hours a day and spend Thousands upon Thousands on their upbringing.
We follow a very minimal vaccine protocol using “core” vaccines. For more info regarding vaccines, our protocol, and vaccinosis, please contact us for more details
Exercise is an essential part of a Yorkie puppy’s development, but it’s important to understand how much is too much, especially when they’re still growing. Like with any breed, strenuous exercise before your Yorkie reaches full maturity can put undue stress on their joints, potentially causing issues later in life. For Yorkies, moderation is key. The goal is to provide enough exercise to mentally and physically tire your puppy, without pushing them to exhaustion.
Young Yorkie puppies benefit from a balance of mental and physical stimulation. Short bursts of play, gentle walks on soft surfaces like grass, and interactive games that challenge their minds are perfect for this stage. Long walks on hard surfaces like pavement or high-impact activities should be avoided until they’re older. Using a Yorkie as a running partner should wait until they’re at least 12-18 months old, depending on their development, and after consulting with your vet.
At this young age, their bones and joints are still growing, and overexercising or making them jump can cause long-term joint issues. Proper care now ensures that your Yorkie will have healthy joints and remain active well into their senior years. Longevity and health are what we strive for!
Think about this: Spaying or neutering your Yorkie. Much like with horses, where gelding a young colt can lead to a growth spurt, the timing of spay/neuter procedures can have an impact on your dog’s development. Early spaying or neutering may influence a puppy’s growth and maturity, so it’s important to understand the timing that’s best for your Yorkie’s health and longevity.
